   Sutton-under-Whitestonecliffe (the longest named village in England) is set at the foot of the North York Moors National Park. The Dales, East Coast, and York are all within easy travelling distance and the market town of Thirsk (once home of the famous TV vet James Herriot) is only 3 miles away.

Public House & Restaurant

The inn is a traditional public house, parts of which date back to the 17th century. Meals are available from the bar and there is also an attractive restaurant.

 

Recently, six holiday cottages have been added which, coupled with the comprehensive menu in the bar and restaurant enable us to offer food and accommodation of a very high standard.

 


 
Holiday Cottages

Accommodation comprises of an open plan lounge and kitchen with fully fitted units, double bedroom with fitted wardrobes, a small second bedroom with full size bunk beds, a shower room with toilet and hand basin.

Services include central heating, all fuel and power, colour TV, fridge, gas hob, electric oven and microwave. Linen and towels are also included in the rent.

Access to utility room with coin operated washer and dryer. There is ample parking and pets are welcome.
